and decided to stay
because of the endearing
culture. Donn has worked
in the Action Sports
industry, the Direct Mail
industry, Real Estate
and Home Improvement.
"I got a bit tired of the consuming nature of the society in
which we lived and wanted to my 3 children to know another culture. I
don't think I can change much about the way southern California will
turn out, but I know I can change a lot of lives down here. This project
could be a model for other developers in Nicaragua and possibly
world wide."
Donn lives full time in San Juan del Sur to be near the project and
oversee the daily activities.

Juan Manuel Caldera May
Vice President
Nicaragua native recently returned to
Nicaragua and divides his time
between Managua and San Juan del
Sur.
Juan's background was as a
Sound Technician covering
breaking news, documentaries
and prime-time news magazine
shows world-wide for National
Geographic, Discovery Channel,
PBS, ABC, CBS, NBC, HBO, ESPN
and FOX. Responsibilities include
field production, pitching stories,
and assisting producers with
character development and
editorial decisions.
While working for CBS News in Saudi Arabia in 1990-1991during the Persian Gulf War Juan helped
broadcast exclusive coverage of Allied and Iraqi troop movements through Baghdad, Jordan and
Saudi Arabia. This also included being captured by Iraqi forces and imprisoned for 40 days!
"I was drawn back to my homeland by this project and I am proud to be involved in a project that
protects the environment and natural resources for future generations".
