What the press is saying about
Nicaragua and Nica Dev
There has been so much positive press about Nicaragua
over the past few years, there is no way we can keep up
with it all.
The following links are some of the most interesting
articles recently written about Nicaragua.
We like to call it "The Costa Rica you were hoping to find
when you went there" but that's a bit wordy.
Whatever you choose to call it; "the next Costa Rica", "the
New Florida", or simply the most exciting and diverse
country
you will ever visit, Nicaragua lives up to it all!

Conde Nast Traveler magazine, March 2005.
Nicaragua to the Max!
"The world's preeminent travel magazine reviews the
country, the people and the action mecca.
In a country the size of New York state, seventeen
percent of the land is earmarked for nature reserves,
and you'll find seven percent of the world's
biodiversity. The topography is so varied that you can
hike, ski, and mountain bike over active volcanoes;
stroll through rain forests full of pumas, monkeys, and
butterflies; kayak amid a maze of freshwater islands in
the region's largest lake; dive a pristine reef that is
one of the Caribbean's best-kept secrets; and surf
deserted breaks."

Outside Traveler compiled 5 segments on the
various aspects of Nicaragua.
Central America's largest country—49,579 square
miles—has heaping helpings of what its neighbors
offer:
Caribbean islands to rival those in Honduras,
cloudforests and fauna to equal Costa Rica's,
impressively preserved Spanish colonial cities to
match the ones in Guatemala, and enough secret
surf spots along its 230-mile Pacific coast to put
Panama to shame. It has 19 active volcanoes and
dozens more that sit dormant. All this in a nation
that hasn't felt the commercial scythe of Cancún-
style development.
